Hyundai Motors has introduced an upgraded version of its popular subcompact SUV, the Exter, with enhanced features and improved driving experience. Priced from ₹7,73,190 (ex-showroom), the new Exter aims to attract customers with its stylish design and advanced technology.
The Exter is available in both petrol and CNG variants. Hyundai has introduced a new SX Tech variant in the petrol lineup with premium additions such as a push-button start/stop, smart key, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other key features include automatic climate control, a smart electric sunroof, a dashcam, and projector headlamps.
The Exter S+ petrol variant has also been upgraded, now offering an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a rear parking camera, rear AC vents, a sunroof, and stylish dual-tone steel wheels. Meanwhile, the S petrol variant now includes a rear parking camera, enhanced infotainment, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, and hill-start assist control.
Hyundai has also expanded its CNG lineup by introducing the S Executive and S+ Executive variants. Under the hood, the Exter is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that generates 82 bhp and 113.8 Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission.
Built on the Grand i10 platform, the Exter competes directly with rivals like the Tata Punch and Nissan Magnite, offering a strong combination of style, safety, and modern features.
